As a Health Care Worker using WeBookCare, you have the tools to efficiently manage tasks and communicate with Care Seekers through charting every visit. This guide will walk you through the process of checking off tasks and creating progress reports to keep Care Seekers informed about their loved ones' care journey.
Part 1: Checking Off Tasks
Efficiently managing tasks ensures that care is provided consistently and transparently. Follow these steps to mark tasks as completed:
Step 1: Navigate to Your Task List
Log in to your WeBookCare account.
In the care plan, find the "Tasks" or "To-Do List" section. This is where you'll see a list of tasks assigned to you.
Step 2: Marking Tasks as Completed
Locate the task you've completed. It might have a checkbox or similar indicator.
Click the checkbox or mark the task as complete using the designated action.
Step 3: Adding Notes (Optional)
Some tasks might require additional context or updates. If needed, click on the completed task to add any relevant notes or comments.
This helps provide insights to the Care Seeker about the task's completion or any observations made.
Part 2: Writing a Progress Report to the Care Seeker
Progress reports offer valuable insights into the care provided and the well-being of the care recipient. Follow these steps to create a comprehensive report:
Step 1: Access the Reporting Section in the Care Plan and Charting tab of the care recipient profile. This is where you can compose progress reports to the Care Seeker.
Step 2: Create a New Report
Tap on the progress report to start creating a new report. Below the last entry add the date of care for which you're writing the report.
Step 3: Provide Detailed Information
Begin your report by detailing the tasks you've completed during the care session. Be specific and thorough in your descriptions. Include any observations, interactions, and notable events that occurred during the care session.
Step 4: Address Care Concerns
If there were any challenges or concerns during the care session, be sure to mention them in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.
If necessary, suggest recommendations for addressing these concerns.
Step 5: Update on Well-being
Share information about the care recipient's well-being, mood, and any changes you've noticed.
If there are any changes in their condition or behavior, provide details.
Step 6: Attach Media (If available)
If you took photos or videos during the care session that could provide additional context, you can attach them to the report. Visual documentation can enhance the Care Seeker's understanding of the care provided.
Step 7: Review and Close
Carefully review your report for accuracy and clarity. Once satisfied, your report will be automatically saved when you close it and the Care Seeker, colleagues or broader healthcare team can read it.
Pro Tips:
Be Detail-Oriented: The more information you provide, the better Care Seekers can understand the care provided.
Use Clear Language: Write in a clear and concise manner to ensure your reports are easy to understand.
By effectively managing tasks and providing well-written reports, you contribute to a transparent and supportive care experience for Care Seekers in WeBookCare. If you encounter any issues or have questions, remember that our support team is available to assist you in the Help Centre.
