An inquiry is a message to a Health Care Worker asking about specific dates, times or care services for a job. Care Seekers who send an inquiry are usually looking for more information before sending a job offer.
To send an inquiry or job offer
- Go to Send Message from your favorite Health Care Worker Profile
- Next, send a message: Health Care Workers are expected to reply to the Care Seeker’s message within 24 hours to maintain their response rate.
- Your Health Care Worker will accept your job offer or answer the inquiry. They may also send an offer with different dates and times. Be sure to check your message thread or email for your confirmation.
Note: Health Care Workers can decline job offers if they are unable to accommodate the Care Seeker. Before they decline, they need to make sure to be aware of ourNon Discrimination Policyand review theimplications of declining bookings.
Health Care Workers have 24 hours to respond
Health Care Workers must respond to all messages—especially job offers—within 24 hours. Quick responses are one of the best ways to lock in an accepted job offer and taking more than 24 hours to respond impacts their response rate.
Health Care Worker options for responding to a job offer
- Approve the job offer: This is the fastest way to get an accepted job offer.
- Send a message: Replying to the Care Seeker’s message within 24 hours is another way for them to maintain their response rate.
